The FIFA has kept Haiti national football team in 83rd place in its first global ranking of 2026, published on April 1.
After the latest international window, and ahead of the World Cup, all four Group C teams—Brazil national football team, Morocco national football team, Scotland national football team, and Haiti—played two friendly matches each. None managed a perfect record.
Haiti hold steady
Following a 0–1 loss to Tunisia and a 1–1 draw with Iceland, Haiti did not drop in the rankings. The Grenadiers remain 83rd with 1,291 points, still the lowest-ranked team in Group C.
Within the CONCACAF region, Haiti ranks among the top 10, behind teams like Mexico, the United States, Canada, and Panama.
Scotland lose ground
Scotland national football team are the biggest losers this month. After back-to-back defeats (0–1 vs Japan and 0–1 vs Ivory Coast), they drop three places to 43rd with 1,498 points.
Morocco hold position
Morocco national football team remain 8th in the world with 1,755 points. They drew 1–1 with Ecuador and secured a 2–1 win over Paraguay, with goals from Neil El Aynaoui and Khannouss.
Brazil slip slightly
Brazil national football team drop one place to 6th (1,761 points) after a 2–1 loss to France and a 3–1 win over Croatia. The team is currently managed by Carlo Ancelotti.
The next FIFA ranking update is scheduled for June 9, just before the start of the World Cup.
