The Haitian National Police (PNH) announced that it has received, through the Brigade for the Fight against Drug Trafficking (BLTS), 1,376 kilograms of marijuana seized by the U.S. Coast Guard during an interception at sea near Môle Saint-Nicolas, North.
The operation, carried out on April 30, led to the arrest of Aldane Anderson, a Jamaican national also known as “Ali,” who was found in possession of 66 bags containing the drugs. The official handover of the shipment took place in the presence of Cap-Haïtien Justice of the Peace Samuel Philippaux, along with representatives from both Haitian and American maritime authorities.
