National head coach Sébastien Migné has unveiled the list of 26 players called up to compete in the World Cup (June 11 to July 19, 2026). Dominique Simon and Lenny Joseph are the two newcomers to the national team.
The die is cast. As announced, Sébastien Migné unveiled, during an online press conference, the list of 26 Grenadiers selected to play in the World Cup, which will take place from June 11 to July 19, 2026.
In his final squad list for the North American World Cup, the coach called up two fresh faces: Dominique Simon, a 25-year-old midfielder currently playing in Slovakia for Tatran Presov, and forward Lenny Joseph, who plays in Hungary for Ferencvaros TC. Meanwhile, Keeto Thermoncy, Wilguens Pauguin, Derrick Etienne, and Carl-Fred Sainthé are among the call-ups who were not expected by the general public. On the other hand, Donald Guerrier, Fabrice Picault, Woobens Pacius, Dany Jean, and Mondy Prunier are not part of this World Cup campaign.
As for the rest, all the key veterans are present: Johny Placide, Duckens Nazon, Frantzdy Pierrot, Ricardo Adé, and Carlens Arcus, alongside major reinforcements such as Jean-Ricner Bellegarde, Josué Casimir, Hannes Delcroix, Jean-Kévin Duverne, and Ruben Providence, who are officially included in the 26-man World Cup roster.
To prepare for the global tournament, Sébastien Migné specified that his team will begin with a training camp on May 24 in Port St. Lucie, Florida, followed by two friendly matches against New Zealand and Peru on June 2 and 5, respectively.
“I took pleasure, without pressure, in communicating with you since this is a special and symbolic moment before the World Cup begins. It was not easy to make the choice of players, but choosing is my job,” Migné stated before revealing the list.
Alluding to the two new faces, Sébastien Migné praised Dominique Simon and Lenny Joseph. However, he hinted that in the event of any last-minute injuries, he would call upon other players from the national team’s core pool, which consists of about fifty footballers.
As a reminder, Haiti, placed in Group C, will face Scotland, Brazil, and Morocco in the upcoming World Cup.
