The Minister of Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Rural Development, Marcelin Aubourg, received a courtesy visit this Friday from the Brazilian Ambassador to Haiti, Luis Guilherme Da Silva.
According to the Minister, this meeting is part of a push to strengthen bilateral relations, with a specific focus on the agricultural sector. The discussions centered on the direction of agricultural cooperation to address the challenges of food insecurity through short- and medium-term actions.
Among the priorities mentioned were support for specific agricultural chains, the development of irrigation systems, and the mechanization of the sector.
