The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Religious Affairs, Raina Forbin, received this Wednesday the young Abigaïl Alexandre, winner of the international Eloquentia 2026 competition in Paris, according to information provided by the ministry.
Upon her return to Haiti after the competition, Abigaïl Alexandre was welcomed by the head of Haitian diplomacy. During the meeting, the minister praised her performance and her journey.
According to officials, the discussions focused on the young speaker’s path and on the opportunities available to Haitian youth in the academic and cultural fields.
The minister also announced the granting of an internship to Abigaïl Alexandre within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Religious Affairs (MAEC), allowing her to gain professional experience.
