Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé delivered a formal address honoring the policemen and policewomen who dedicate their lives to national defense and citizen protection, marking the 31st anniversary of the Haitian National Police (PNH) this Friday, June 12, 2026. The Head of Government emphasized that the law enforcement institution remains one of the critical bastions of the State when facing ongoing structural threats against collective public safety.
During the commemorative event, Prime Minister Fils-Aimé paid solemn tribute to the memory of the officers who have fallen in the line of duty while combating organized crime. The executive office reiterated its commitment to supporting the police force, stating that the sacrifices made by tactical and administrative personnel remain fundamental to the ongoing national efforts to restore law and order, recover state sovereignty, and secure long-term regional stability.
