For their third outing in the preliminary round of the CONCACAF Championship—qualifying for the 2027 World Cup—Haiti women’s national football team delivered a dominant performance, crushing Anguilla women’s national football team 5–0 (3–0 at halftime) at Stade Zami in Guadeloupe.

Despite the absence of several key players, including Melchie Dumornay, Batcheba Louis, Dayana Pierre-Louis, and Kethna Louis, the Grenadières showed no weakness against a modest Anguilla side.

Coached by Pia Sundhage, Haiti opened the scoring through Florsie-Love Darlina Joseph in the 15th minute, marking her first goal in the competition. Just seven minutes later, Chelsea Domond doubled the lead (23’), capitalizing on a defensive error by the Anguilla goalkeeper.

Before halftime, Sherly Jeudy added a third goal in the 32nd minute with a simple strike, giving Haiti a comfortable 3–0 advantage at the break.

The second half followed the same one-sided pattern. Darlina Joseph completed her brace in the 60th minute, while substitute Claire Constant sealed the emphatic 5–0 victory in the 80th minute.

This marks Haiti’s third consecutive win, following earlier dominant results against Belize women’s national football team (9–0) and Suriname women’s national football team (2–0).

With 9 points, Haiti strengthens its position at the top of the group, ahead of the Dominican Republic women’s national football team, who sit second with 7 points. The two neighboring sides are set to clash on April 17 in Guadeloupe.

The winner of that decisive match will secure qualification for the next CONCACAF Championship stage, which serves as qualifiers for the 2026 Gold Cup, the 2027 World Cup, and the 2028 Olympic Games.

Starting XI for Haiti vs Anguilla:
Kiana Piétrus (GK); Tabita Joseph, Jennyfer Limage, Maudeline Moryl, Amandine Pierre-Louis; Déborah Bien-Aimé (C), Sherly Jeudy, Anyssa Ibrahim; Darlina Joseph, Chelsea Domond, Roseline Eloissaint (Joséphine Vanuxeem, 66’).
