The Anti-Narcotics Bureau (BLTS), in coordination with the Customs Surveillance Brigade, intercepted on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at the port of Quartier-Morin, a firearm, a magazine, and ten 9 mm rounds inside a container arriving from the United States.
The items were concealed in cardboard boxes. Jacques Hilaire, who was present during the inspection of the shipment, was apprehended and taken into custody for illegal trafficking of weapons and ammunition.
