Abigaïl Alexandre made history on March 25, 2026, by winning the grand final of Eloquentia International, held in France.

At just 21 years old and originally from Jacmel, she stood out among more than 2,400 candidates from across the Francophone world. Her performance impressed both the jury and the audience with its powerful delivery, strong rhetorical skills, and commanding stage presence.

The final took place at La Seine Musicale, a major cultural venue, where finalists competed in a highly engaging atmosphere.

On stage, Abigaïl delivered a deep and committed speech, highlighting the realities faced by Haitian youth and giving a voice to the voiceless. Her emotionally charged and authentic performance clearly set her apart from the competition.

With this achievement, she becomes the first Haitian to win this prestigious international eloquence contest, marking a significant milestone in Francophone public speaking.

Beyond personal success, her victory represents a source of national pride and hope, showcasing the talent and potential of Haitian youth on the global stage.
