Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé chaired a ceremony on April 7, 2026, focused on strengthening urban governance and risk prevention in the South. In the presence of international partners, he signed work contracts for drainage and stormwater management as part of the Urbanity program funded by the European Union. With a budget of over 10 million euros, the project aims to reduce flood risks and modernize infrastructure. On the occasion, heavy equipment was handed over to the municipal authorities.
