The Northern Departmental Judicial Police Service killed two suspected criminals identified as Dan and Peterly during an armed confrontation in the northern region. The law enforcement operation took place during the overnight hours of June 4 to June 5, 2026, in Lory, a strategic sector located at the eastern entrance of Cap-Haïtien, where the suspects sustained fatal injuries after opening fire on tracking units.
According to a security update released by the Haitian National Police, both individuals were high-value targets implicated in several high-profile homicides across the province. Their victims included Luckner Vulver, an active agent of the Protected Areas Security Brigade, alongside local residents Pierre-Louis Archange and Mercéline Bochard. Following the conclusion of the armed engagement, forensic officers operating at the scene discovered and seized an altered, illicitly trafficked handgun utilized by the suspects against the tactical team.
