The Haitian National Police (PNH) announced the successful seizure of firearms, high-caliber ammunition, and strategic tactical equipment during a targeted raid in the Bel-Air neighborhood of downtown Port-au-Prince. The law enforcement operation focused on the suspected residence of a local gang leader identified by authorities as “Jamley.”
According to an official statement released by the PNH, the tactical deployment underscores the state’s ongoing commitment to disrupting armed criminal networks. Police leadership emphasized that these specialized operations will continue across gang-controlled sectors in order to dismantle criminal strongholds and progressively reclaim territorial authority in the metropolitan area.
