Ariana Milagro Lafond was welcomed as a true hero in Haiti following her victory in the 8th edition of House of Challenge – Startup Africa Special, held in Togo on April 11, 2026.
At just 19 years old, the young Haitian influencer made a notable return to the country on Saturday, April 18, entering through Ouanaminthe on the Haiti–Dominican Republic border, where she was greeted by a cheering crowd.
Already honored abroad, particularly in the Dominican Republic, she continued her journey to Cap-Haïtien, where her arrival sparked strong public enthusiasm.
In the streets, songs, dances, and joyful celebrations сопровождали her passage, reflecting the excitement generated by her achievement.
Accompanied by artist Bovann and comedian Jojo, along with other members of the program, Ariana Milagro Lafond was celebrated with honors rarely given to someone of her age.
Her victory against candidates from several countries earned her a trophy, a prize of 20 million CFA francs, 10 million in startup funding, a vehicle, and a trip to China. She was also named an ambassador of the program.
