The Secretary of State for Local Authorities, Sharina Lochard, alongside the presidents of FENAMH and FENACAH, convened a joint press conference on Friday, June 19, 2026, at the Quartier Latin to deliver a performance audit on the distribution of 700 audiovisual kits under the “Ayiti nan Mondyal” state initiative. Launched by the central government on June 3, the logistical program is designed to provide public viewing access to the 2026 FIFA World Cup matches for local populations, emphasizing inclusion as the national team marked its return to the tournament after a 52-year hiatus.
According to operational data provided by the three institutional leaders, approximately 98% of the designated equipment has been successfully dispatched and deployed within the country’s communal sectors and municipalities. Out of the 571 total communal sections nationwide, 555 have officially received and verified the hardware. Furthermore, the pipeline has successfully delivered resources to 145 out of the 147 targeted municipalities, confirming high compliance rates for the Ministry of the Interior and Local Authorities (MICT) regional infrastructure strategy.
