The Haitian national football team delivered a dominant performance to defeat New Zealand 4-0 on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. The international friendly, serving as a critical preparation fixture ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, took place at Chase Stadium in Florida.
Following a conservative opening spell, the Grenadiers established offensive control before the fifteen-minute mark. In the 12th minute, Wilson Isidor provided a decisive assist to Ruben Providence, who opened the scoring to make it 1-0, a lead the Caribbean side maintained until halftime.
Haiti expanded its tactical dominance inside the second half. Lenny Joseph doubled the advantage in the 51st minute (2-0) following a clinical setup by forward Frantzdy Pierrot. Pierrot then turned goalscorer in the 62nd minute, finding the back of the net to stretch the lead to 3-0 and claim his 34th career goal for the Haitian national team. Duke Lacroix capped off the commanding display in the 87th minute, sealing the 4-0 shutout. The Grenadiers will conclude this segment of their international camp on Friday, June 5, when they face Peru.
