The Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training (MENFP) hosted a specialized administrative forum on Thursday, June 11, 2026, bringing together over 600 school directors, university deans, and rectors from Haiti’s Protestant educational sector. Organized as part of national celebrations honoring Haitian Protestantism, the assembly focused directly on streamlining the formal state recognition and legal accreditation processes for private training and educational institutions.
During the convention, Minister of Education Vijonet Déméro emphasized the critical need to modernize Protestant academic centers, framing it as a vital strategic step toward transforming the national school system and strengthening pedagogical quality across the board. Concluding the working session, ministry officials successfully distributed 300 formalized operational permits to institutional leaders who successfully met the state’s structural compliance and licensing criteria.
