The Departmental Judicial Police Service of the North (SDPJ-Nord) carried out the arrest of seven individuals on Sunday, April 12, 2026, as part of the investigation into the April 11 tragedy at the Citadelle Henry, which claimed the lives of 25 people.
Among those arrested are five officers from the Milot municipal police and two employees of the National Heritage Preservation Institute (ISPAN). Investigators also seized six mobile phones and six badges.
The suspects are currently in police custody at the central police station in Cap-Haïtien, according to the Haitian National Police (PNH), which stated that all necessary measures are being taken to shed light on this tragic event.
